    This 2-hour clinic focuses on SUP-specific rescue techniques to help you assist others and get them back on their boards quickly and safely. You'll also learn basic towing methods and other helpful on-water assistance skills.

    This 2-hour clinic builds on the skills from the Basic and Advanced SUP courses, focusing on refining your forward stroke. You’ll learn simple techniques to improve your stroke efficiency and understand when to adjust stroke length for better performance on the water.

    This 2-hour clinic covers race starts—fun and fast-paced whether or not you plan to compete. You’ll also learn how racers transition quickly from prone to standing, improving speed, control, and confidence at the start of any paddle.

  • The Gorge Gauntlet Race

    Be part of a fun and welcoming Paddleboard race in Downtown Victoria! The Gorge Gauntlet Race, hosted by Ocean River Sports, is open to all skill levels.

    This community event is designed as a fun and engaging afternoon of paddle boarding. Meet new folks, test your skills, and have a fun day on the water.

    There is a 3km race option for first-time racers or those who prefer a sprint race. The 9km option is more technical and endurance focused, extending along the Gorge Waterway through areas of lush greenery and wildlife.

    The $25 entry fee includes entry into a raffle, a beer or non-alcoholic drink from Herald Street Brewing, and light snacks. For those who don't own a paddleboard, we also offer rentals for the duration of the event. An entry with a rental is $45.
