Visit us dockside at the Paddle Shack, there's plenty of parking and we'll get you out paddling in no time. Boat rentals are closed for the 2024 season, our tours can be booked online or by contacting our team.

    The nearby islets are ideal for viewing resident harbor seals, river otters, birdlife galore, and if you are lucky maybe some whales. Visit the Chain Islands in the Oak Bay Ecological Reserve. All tour guests will be in tandem kayaks unless you have significant paddling experience. Please contact us for single kayak bookings.

All Rentals Include All Mandatory Safety Gear

This includes: Paddle, Lifejacket (PFD), Spray Skirt, Throw-line, Pump, and Leash for Paddleboards.

Additional items can be requested with your bookings.

Directions & Parking

  • Oak Bay Marina is located at 1327 Beach Drive

    There's a sizable parking lot available that's free all day.

    Please check in with our staff at the Ocean River store, to the left and down the stairs from the main Marina Restaurant doors.

    Our dock is down the hallway to the right at the bottom of the stairs, through the gate, down the ramp and to the left at the end of the row.
